Myles Porter Cider, the youngest prince of the North American Union, finds himself being offered to the South American Kingdom in a joint plan to stop an impending war between the two countries. Myles though baffled by the decision goes along with being treated as a pawn to aid in a permanent treaty. Upon meeting the cocky Prince Bernardo Rouanet is not willing to be a participant in the farce and is also not keen on being the husband of the pacifist, in a world ruled by strength.
