ලදු කැලෑව මැදින් වැටුනු අඩි පාර කෙළවර වුනේ මදක් ඉඩ කඩ සහිත භූමි භාගයකින්. තවමත් වල් පැලෑටි නොවැවුනු පොළවයි කෙලවරකට වෙන්න එක මත එක ගොඩ ගසා තිබූ මානා පදුරු වලිනුයි පෙනුනේ කවුරු හරි ළගදි එතන සුද්ධ පවිත්‍ර කර ඇති බවයි. පුදුමයෙන් අවට බැලූ මුතූගේ ඇස් දෙක කුඩා පස් කණ්ඩියක් උඩ මලානිකව දැල්වෙන පහන ලග නතර වුනා. බැලූ බැල්මට ඇදිනීමට අපහසු වුනත් විමසිල්ලෙන් බැලු විට එය සොහොන් කොතක් බව අදුන ගන්න එක අපහසු දෙයක් වුනේ නැහැ. පහන් ආලෝකය වැටී ආලෝකමත් වූ පරණ අබලන් කොන්ක්‍රීට් පුවරුව වෙත මුතූ ලංවුනේ කුතුහලයෙන්. කඩතොලු වුනු අකුරු වලින් පුවරුව මත ලියවී ඇති නම හරියට කියවගන්න බැරුව එයා දෙතුන් පාරක්ම ඇසිපිය සැලුවා. ටික ටික මද ආලෝකයට ඇස් හුරු වෙද්දී පලකය මත ලියලා තිබුනු නම දැක්ක මුතූ පොළව උඩට ඇදගෙන වැටුනේ ඇග අඩපන වුනු හැගීමකින් වෙව්ලුම් කද්දී...
