"The Unfortunate Truth of the World" is based on the writer's story of depression and being an attempted suicide survivor. Hannah West plays Hadley Winston, a character based on herself. This story deals with bullying, self harm and breakups and how Hannah's character overcomes those obstacles with the help of her friend Rachael.
