Gatekeeper

Thousands of years ago, humans lived alongside magical beings and creatures. Fairies, elves, beasts, and all others. But one day, a human wanted to usurp the throne of the Fairy Queen. In his uprising, he destroyed the Crest, an artifact that held the magic of the world. Humans were banished from that realm, which they later named the Otherworld. In time, the Otherworld was forgotten, and the key that would unlock its doorway was passed down as an heirloom, it's purpose lost. One day, the doorway was opened again, and a human champion was called to save the dying land. In the night, she stole the key from her mother and set out to recover the five shards of the Crest and return them to the Fairy Queen. Pulled by fear, hope, anger, and love, Cora must delve into deadly terrain and right the wrongs of her people before the vampire Queen Snowbell launches an invasion on the human realms to find a new home for her army in a living land.
