This is a movie script combining two famous holiday stories: The Nutcracker and Babes in Toyland; starring the one and only Muppets.
  
It's Christmas at the Stahlbaum mansion and the Stahlbaums, plus their three foster children: Clara, Fritz, and Marie, are getting ready for their Christmas Eve Ball. While decorating the tree, Fritz and their godfather, Drosselmeyer, find a box of wooden ornaments; among which is a nutcracker.
  
But a magical adventure awaits the foster sisters when, during the night, rats invade the mansion. And when the Rat King and Barnaby kidnap Marie, it's up to Clara and the nutcracker to save her. Along the way, they discover a plot to destroy Christmas and the holiday season.
  
Can the sisters learn the secret about their parents and who they are, save Christmas and the holiday realms, and make it back home all before the magic clock strikes midnight?
