"We're going to need more heroes."

Dragoskala has erupted in chaos as an evil plot comes to fruition. The fate of both the city and the central plains of Terrok rests in the hands of a terminally ill swordsman with a temper problem, a snarky layabout gentleman elf, and the cranky female mercenary they let be sold into slavery. If the curse of lycanthropy doesn't kill them, chances are she will.
In Silver Blades novellas, we follow the adventures of Riposte Clasicant, who has neglected duty and honor in recent decades. This time his faults have come back to haunt everyone, and he hopes his superior skill with a blade and the help of Pertuli, his sarcastic but well-meaning sidekick, will be enough to save the city he loves.
Silver Blades: Plate Male takes place immediately after the events in Silver Blades: Dread Handed.

Dear readers, Allow me to invite you on an introspective journey, an exploration of the intricacies of destiny as I perceive it, not only in my own existence but also through the prism of the characters that populate my creative universe. Destiny, this mysterious force that sometimes seems to guide our steps, takes multiple and changing forms in my mind. It is not a single, predetermined path, but rather a complex interweaving of choices, chances, and necessities. For me, the destiny of each person, whether real or fictional, is like a perpetually evolving tapestry. Each thread represents a decision, an encounter, an unforeseen event. Some threads are thick and solid, forged by our will and deliberate actions. Others are thin, almost invisible, woven by circumstances beyond our control. In the following lines, I invite you to discover how this vision of destiny manifests in my life and in that of my characters. You will see how each decision, each trial, each triumph contributes to weaving a unique and unpredictable story. Prepare to dive into a narrative where reality and fiction intertwine, where destiny is not an end in itself, but a constantly evolving path. Let me tell you how I perceive my own destiny, as well as that of the beings born from my imagination... In a world where supernatural powers shape society, destiny brings together an unlikely group of individuals on a history-laden bridge. Slenth, a young man tormented by his past, crosses paths with Jokash, a powerless colossus, Shalan, a healer whose gifts consume her, Léonen, a man on the brink of suicide, and Ritchard, an object manipulator with mysterious intentions. Their encounter, orchestrated by the invisible threads of destiny, will lead them towards extremely dangerous adventures.

A place abundant with magic and full of different races such as Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Witches and Wizards. I've taking inspiration from some of my favorite well known sources to bring this story to life. Some of them include The Lord of the Rings, The Witcher, Eragon and even Harry Potter. If you enjoy epic fantasy stories then I think you'll enjoy my story The Chronicles of Arnora: The Curse of the Blood Moon. This is an original story of my own creation with my own original characters. Before I started publishing my story on Wattpad I've had several people read it and they've told me it was good and they enjoyed reading it and I hope you all enjoy it as well. I've always been told I have a very active and creative imagination and I should use that i it a like and follow for more chapters to come. Please feel free to point out any grammatical errors you find that I may have missed as I'm constantly editing the story to make it better. *If any names in my story are that of real world people it's completely coincidental, I use a random name generator, which creates countless names, to help with the naming of some of my characters.

Long ago, when the world was young and humanity struggled against the forces of chaos, the gods intervened. They forged a sword, not as a weapon of destruction, but as a gift of hope. Each god poured a fragment of their essence into it-courage, wisdom, resilience, and strength. It's a sword meant for everything possible. For centuries, the blade lay hidden, waiting for the right moment to be discovered. It wasn't buried in gold or locked away in a grand vault-it rested quietly in the heart of the earth, untouched and unseen, until the time was right. When the first hand grasped the hilt, the sword came alive. Its surface shimmered with an otherworldly glow, a promise of the power within. The one who found it didn't know the gods had shaped it, nor did they understand the weight of what they held. But the sword recognized them. It responded to their strength, their resolve, and their needs. As the blade cut through the darkness for the first time, it wasn't just its edge that brought change. It was the force behind it-the will to fight for survival, for something greater than fear. With every swing, the sword grew brighter, stronger, as if it fed not on blood but on purpose. Though the gods forged the blade, it wasn't theirs anymore. In that moment, it became part of humanity, a bond between the divine and mortal worlds. And for the one who wielded it, the sword was more than steel and magic-it was a companion, a guide, and a silent promise: you are not alone. Thus began the sword's journey, not just as a tool of battle, but as a symbol of what humanity could become. And though its path was just beginning, the gods knew it would go on, far beyond what even they could imagine. (this is my very first novel. I got my inspiration from a nail clipper)

"Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?
