" «Don't you see? You're not like them. You don't fight, you don't kill, you don't impose yourself on others. You're not a barbarian, you're not looking for war or conflicts, you're different. You try to understand, you take the chance to learn what you don't know, you look for peace. And that's what I like of you. You're nothing like them. Believe me, John. You're the eternal Summer in my neverending Winter.» "

May 1610.
John Rolfe arrives in Jamestown on the Sea Venture, flagship of the Virginia Company, as part of the Third Supply Fleet. He's one of the few survivors, and he's glad to finally have reached a new place where to live. Unfortunately, life isn't as easy as he would have thought when he had left Plymouth months before, and he has now to find a way to survive the starvation that is menacing the colony and, perhaps, to be able to make a little dream of his come true.
March 1613.
Pocahontas is captured by Captain Samuel Argall, and kept as ransom until her tribe will not free some Englishmen and will give back some weapons they have stolen. But, not satisfied by the few weapons received by the Natives, the British men decide to keep her captive, and she has to find a way to survive among the men's harassing and the continuous tentatives of Alexander Whitaker to turn her into a British woman.
But when John Rolfe and Pocahontas's paths cross, it will be their duty to choose whether continuing to follow their road or stepping into the new path together.
