Deep into Dreams

"CONFUSION. The word that keeps floating around in my mind as I fall to sleep. Almost every night I find myself drifting into my dreams, feeling as if I am still awake. Most nights I tend to remember my dreams, in fact, it's rare when I don't. At night, it usually feels like I travel into another world, meeting new people, flying through a sky of clouds and even traveling beneath the ocean to find that I can breathe underwater. That is most nights, but sometimes, like tonight is where the magical twist of my dreams fades away and something dark slithers out. Something, or someone I have been dreaming about since the age of six. Though I can never remember the dream once I wake up, I am very familiar with the presence that comes into my room before slumber drags me away."
