When Hawkmoth is defeated and the war is won, all of Paris celebrates, except for Adrien Agreste. With Gabriel falling into a coma after sustaining injuries from the events that resulted in his defeat. With his mother in a permanent sleep, now his father comatose, Adrien had no family left. He started to distance himself from his friends, and the outside world. He isolated himself from just about everyone except for his kwami, Plagg.
