Persephone romanticises everything... Apart from relationships. She meets Alex for a split second and romanticises the moment. But after spending 24 hours with him, she suppresses it and doesn't revisit it ever again. Or does she?

Why doesn't she trust Alex? Why can't she bring herself to accept that there's something going on between her and Alex?

It's in first person, but it's not shit (I think).

This is technically an Alex Turner fanfiction, but can be read as a normal story (I think).

Only Ones Who Know

59 parts Complete Mature

Six years ago, Alexander Turner was a loving and caring boy. Nowadays, he was cold and whimsical. Six years ago, Isabella McCarthey was a shy and insecure girl. Nowadays, she was feisty and strong. Six years ago, they were inseparable, some people would actually call that friendship love. Nowadays, after unexpectedly running into each other again, they could barely stand the other's presence. Will Izzy be able to let the past go and accept the new man in front of her? Will Alex ever realize he loves Izzy in something else than just a friend? A million secrets lie in their past together, and once they notice they're the only ones who know, they'll begin experiencing a different kind of bond between them, which they're way too scared to face.
