"She's deadly, but truthfully... nothing has ever made me feel more alive."

***

Lydia Greystone was only thirteen years old when she became a prisoner of the arc. With her mother floated, her father ruled dead, and her best friend nowhere to be found, she is truly alone in the world. That is until she finds herself on earth at the side of Bellamy Blake the boy with the twisted mind and tainted smile, and sadness in his eyes that could sink a thousand ships.

He could be the end of her, and yet Lyds has never felt more alive.

THE REASONS // Bellamy Blake - the 100 by KylieRutledge17
82 parts Complete Mature
Madison Cameron was born in space, a child of the Ark, never feeling the sun on her skin or breathing the fresh, unfiltered air of Earth. She's never experienced the sensation of water, the way it would flow against her or lap around her as she swam. For three generations, humanity has clung to the Ark, floating in the cold vacuum of space, its fragile walls the only barrier between them and extinction. The Ark was all they knew-sterile, artificial, far from the dangers and beauty of Earth below. But now, the Ark is dying. It can't sustain them much longer. They are the last hope of mankind, a fragile chance for survival. The Earth they land on, however, is nothing like they imagined. It's not a fresh start or paradise - it's a nightmare. The air is toxic, wildlife monstrous, and every step is a battle for survival. The Earth is alive, but it's unforgiving. Amidst this chaos, Madison and Bellamy Blake find themselves at the forefront, taking on the roles of leaders. Both carry the heavy weight of responsibility, knowing that the survival of the remaining human race rests in their hands. They both strive to protect their people, to do whatever it takes to ensure their survival. But where Madison is focused on the harsh reality of survival-pragmatic, calculating, determined to keep them alive - Bellamy's vision is driven by something more abstract: freedom. They clash over their ideals - her need for structure, his thirst for freedom - and every time their paths cross, the tension between them makes their already perilous situation even more volatile. Yet, the Earth continues to test them. It doesn't care about their petty squabbles or their hopes for a better future. The planet doesn't care about Madison's desire for control or Bellamy's lust for freedom. It only cares about one thing: survival. Equilibrium; a state in which opposing forces or influences are balanced. ⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅ "Fuck you, Bellamy Blake." I said. he knew he wouldn't get those words out of my mouth. He didn't move from me, his breathing was harsh like he was conflicted between doing something. I lowered my gaze to his lips, I looked back up only to realise that he had done the same thing. He met my eye once more. It was so called for but unexpected. In that moment, the two halves of me had fought as we both leapt onto each other. His lips aggressively met mine as we made out. We both panted into the kiss, and his tongue forced its way into my mouth as I was pushed onto the tree. "You drive me crazy." He said. "I'm glad to know that I annoy you too." I panted. "That's not what I meant." He started. His one hand cupped my face, and the other pulled my lower half of my body to him. I could feel him hard on my leg through his pants. "This is." ⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅ He was her greatest enemy. She was his worst betrayal. Bellamy Blake has spent years hating Cassie-the girl he once trusted, the girl he now blames for everything he's lost. Being stuck together on the ground means that old wounds reopen, and neither of them is willing to back down. She's reckless. He's ruthless. And the fire between them is just as dangerous as the battle they're fighting. Every glare is a challenge, every touch a mistake, but no matter how hard they fight it, the tension between them threatens to consume them both. But when the truth begins to unravel, Bellamy is faced with an impossible choice: hold onto his hate... or risk everything for the girl he swore he'd never forgive. Maybe she wasn't the villain he thought she was. Part 1: Completed Part 2: Completed Part 3: Completed Part 4: Completed Part 5: Completed My most impressive rankings- #1 in 'Bellamy' #1 in 'Octav

Ataraxia (at·a·rax·ia) (n.) a state of blissful and serene calmness; freedom from emotional disturbance and anxiety. [ Bellamy Blake x OC ] When Freya was a kid, a kind family helped her out of a bad situation, taking care of her when her own father wouldn't - being too resentful towards the little girl for his wife's passing. During one of the many days on which he had locked Freya out of their living quarters to fend for herself, she had bumped into a little boy not much older than herself, Bellamy, and his mother Aurora. The two kids grew to be fast friends. Living on a space station after the nuclear end of the world, Freya didn't have many places to go, and from then on, the Blakes became her refuge, and after spending years escaping to their home, she moved in. She and Bellamy were inseparable, and she loved his mother, and his illegally hidden little sister, Octavia, just like they were her own, and relished in the feeling of finally having a family - of feeling safe and loved. But everything fell apart when Bellamy's well-intended plan to give Octavia a taste of freedom backfired. Octavia was imprisoned and sentenced to death, and Aurora was floated into space for breaking the Ark's strict population law of only having a single child. Freya couldn't forgive Bellamy for the consequences, and their once-strong bond shattered. Their friendship turned into avoidance and resentment, with both cutting all contact. When Octavia, along with 99 other teenaged prisoners awaiting their death sentence, was scheduled to be sent to Earth in a desperate attempt to save humanity, with the Ark's dwindling life-support threatening its survival yet again, everything changes. Determined to protect her against the unknown, Bellamy and Freya both sneak onto the dropship, forcing them to confront their fractured relationship in the harsh realities of a new world.
