Elizabeth Parrish is a thief but not just any thief - She is Moriarty's personal thief.

She made a deal with a devil and she enjoyed it: the thrill, the challenge, the money. Every job he gave her left her on a high that she couldn't get enough of. She's never been caught before either.

But when a job goes wrong, Elizabeth is left with a choice: Help Sherlock & John hunt down Moriarty and potentially get a clean slate afterwards or be locked away in prison for the rest of her life for attempting to steal top-secret government files.

Which will she choose?

And will her choice help her win or lose the game?

DISCLAIMER: I do not own BBC Sherlock or any characters/plotlines related to/used in the show.

What I do own is Elizabeth Parrish, her story and her associates. Also some crimes (not that I committed them myself lmao).

Also, the picture on the cover isn't mine so credits to whoever made that picture - I merely put a title on it. :)

Someone stole the Weeping Widow. The priceless artwork is gone, ripped from its place on the wall and leaving only broken glass behind. The pride of Whitehill Museum and Art Gallery fell victim to heists in the night, and the museum is determined to find the painting and nail the culprit. She's been labelled the main suspect after being found at the scene of the crime. He's been hired to protect Whitehill and keep the rest of the art safe. Both with a job to do at the museum, and both determined to fix broken reputations. But the biggest question of all haunts the exhibits they roam: who stole the Weeping Widow? They painted her the villain. He's learning art is open for interpretation. -------------------------- "Art is to be seen, not touched." His breath curled next to my ear. "But I'd do anything to touch you." "Are you saying I'm art?" My heart knew no limit as it pulsed in my throat, right where his lips began to hover. "As beautiful as what hangs in the Louvre, and just as forbidden to touch." Disclaimer: all works depicted above the chapters are real works, and some real works are mentioned throughout. ❝ 𝐴 𝑤ℎ𝑖𝑡𝑒 𝑟𝑜𝑠𝑒, 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑠 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑠𝑒𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑡 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒. ❞ Anna read out loud, while I was staring at the flower that Lord Tewksbury gave me. ❁ I always was sort of different. It wasn't my looks, my health or my social status. It was my mind. I am sick of men telling us, women, what to do. I am sick of my mother telling me to find myself a rich husband. I am sick of my Father being a member of the house of lords but I still won't be the person following him, even though I am the oldest. And why is that? Because I am a woman and that is the only reason. But I decided to defend myself. I decided to make a difference. My plan was to make women join protests against the sexism going on. To inspire them to defend themselves and I was going to achieve my goal even if it meant that I would have to leave behind everything. I only made one rule for myself to follow: don't fall in love. But when I met the Viscount Tewksbury of Basilweather, I quickly knew that I had to focus so I wouldn't break that rule. #5 in SherlockHolmes (16th January 2023) #6 in enolaholmes (4th February 2023) #3 in runningaway (4th February 2023) #5 in emmawatson (28th May 2023) #2 in Tewksbury (10th July 2023) #1 in womensrights (6th June 2024-29th July 24) #1 in Sherlockholmes (17th August 2023) #2 in runningaway (26th November 2023) (All the characters except my own belong to the owners of Enola Holmes) About 30.000 words have been used in this book

UNEDITED WATTPAD VERSION! (This is the arguably rubbish version, ye be warned.) Includes a sample of the published version as well *** Life would be so much easier if he wasn't around, but even I couldn't deny that my life seemed to truly begin since his arrival. Had Lucifer truly been kicked out of heaven because of his own cravings for power, or had he fled after realizing his true happiness lied elsewhere, in a darker atmosphere? In this world, there is strictly no good or bad, no clear right or wrong. We make poor decisions, hoping it will prove worthy in the end. When it does, we never look back, but when it doesn't, it tears us apart like ravaged hell hounds. Perhaps we're all the product of Lucifer and God alike. Born from beauty only to fall to desire. *** When young baker Rosaria Castellanos is offered a chance to pay her parent's debts to the infamous Romano mafia family by a simple favor, she takes it in a heartbeat. Everyone expected a happy italian wedding, with too much wine to handle and lots of singing. Cater pastries, and don't die? Sounds easy enough. Nobody expected her to catch the eye of the young boss, Giovanni Romano, nicknamed 'The King of New York' for good reason. Unknowingly bound to the mafia by birthright, introduced by a dangerous love, Rosaria's identity will soon be forged. An unlikely heroine, imperfect and anxious, must grow through struggles and gang violence to save those around her. In even the darkest of places, love can bloom. Perhaps even in the mafia. - Side note: Warning: mature sexual scenes, swearing, violence ✨Milestones ✨ Featured on Wattpad's Dangerouslove profile #3 in Thrill -9/7/20 #32 in Mature -9/7/20 #42 in Mafia -3/10/20 #45 in Love -9/7/20 ~ Dates ~ WP Start: October 19th 2019 Finished: December 1st 2020 Published: February 14th 2021
