'"I love you," he murmured, his gaze boring into my eyes. He leaned in slowly, placing a hand on my cheek. My heart tingled at the thought of what was to happen. Our lips connect-'
"Dude, what the hell?" I screamed at my obnoxious friend, pouncing on him. "Give me the pen back!"
"No," Liam yelled sternly. "You promised to use this book to write things that involve our actual lives!"
"I was writing something involving what I wish would be my actual life. I was writing a fanfic," I retorted, placing my hands on my hips as I had given up trying to steal the pen.
"You know what I mean, Ali," he replied, handing the pen back to me. "Now we still need to make an intro for this book."
I groaned. "Fine." I scribbled the words O͟͟u͟͟r͟͟ S͟͟t͟͟o͟͟r͟͟y͟͟ on the top.
"Seems a little basic but I suppose it'll suffice." He shrugged.
I gripped the pen tightly in my hands, writing 'Hi, I'm Alissa (Ali, Lyssa, etc.)' on top. I handed the pen to my friend and he wrote 'Hello, i'm Liam (Li, Leeyum, Payno, Payne, H̶o̶t̶t̶i̶e̶, etc.)! i dont know why Lyssa is spelled with a y as opposed to a i but i was told to never question it'.
I groaned to myself, shaking my head at him. "If you're going to write in this, at least write correctly."
"I didn't spell anything wrong though," he defended himself, looking as confused as ever.
"You forgot to capitalize the 'i's, you wrote 'a i' when it should be 'an'. You forgot an ap- hey, what are you doing?" I asked as I read the words he was writing down.
'Ali likes to talk for a really long time about how i'm incorrect. it gets annoying sometimes :('
I shook my head to myself, grabbing the pen from his hands.
