After receiving word of the Leshen being vanquished, a hunter and a handler head into the Ancient Forest to resume hunting native monsters. However, the two are claimed by a new Leshen portal and sent to another world, but not the world Geralt of Rivia and the Leshen hail from. They are dropped into a chamber where a desperate kingdom has already summoned four heroes to aid them in their time of need. What will become of them and this world they've found themselves in? As you start to close the book, it forced itself open. It glows as the pages quickly flip themselves. You drop it as you feel a pulling sensations come from it.
