DISCONTINUED!

Zara Bennet has never been one to run away from a fight. She is a merciless spitfire and quite the mischievous girl. Her favourite thing to do is play nasty pranks.

But when Zara is kidnapped by some weirdos in white coats and wakes up in a new body, things start to change. Her home is destroyed leaving her to rely on her newfound instincts to stay alive and out of the way of the aliens.

She's been doing great at it for the past few years. Until after an accident, when she's left on death's door and, once again, is kidnapped.

Don't people know it's rude to take someone without their consent?

Sneak Peek:

I hiss at the man who's holding me as he stretches my wing and immediately throw my claws into his arm. He's put me in just the right position to be able to slash at his inner arm. I grin ferally and watch as the man yelps in pain, blood trickling out of the deep claw marks on his arm.

The scientist looks at me in surprise. "Specimen D5844 has succeeded in getting a hit on the lab assistant and seems proud of herself. Her intelligence should be monitored, in case there is more than meets the eye."

I hiss at the scientist and dig my claws deeper into the lab assistant's angry red skin. He quickly drops me, letting the air flow past me and beat into my scales as I fall. I swiftly start to panic. I hadn't thought this far ahead yet.

60 bullets 59 58 57.. The countdown to 17 Bullets begins now. Eleanor was prepared for the zombie apocalypse, not a completely different planet with werewolves, dragons, and viper-fanged skunks! She will have to use all her survival tricks if she wants to stay alive. How will she react when she meets Thann, a handsome alien and learns that he and all men are werewolves and there hasn't been a woman on the planet for a hundred years? How will Thann react when he realizes that she is the woman his mother told stories of a century ago? How will they even find out when they don't speak the same language? As Eleanor's pocket full of bullets decreases, she gets closer and closer to becoming the werewolf queen. Complete. Word Count: 105,000 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He turned slowly back, dreary eyes meeting mine. The towering man was nearly seven feet tall and all bulging muscles. His hair was dark and cut long skimming his smooth angled jaw. Brows watching me with the same intensity as I was watching him. Very lovely rich tan color. Shirtless and barefoot, but wearing simple leather pants, with some kind of pack hanging to his hip. Stomach raw with some deep gash and body littered with cuts. The entire picture of him was genuinely mouthwateringly handsome, but with the dagger still held in one hand entirely too deadly. "Stay right there Dothraki!" I called, my rifle finally having something in the crosshairs again. I'd never watched the popular show, but the videos I saw sure had him looking like he could play one of the built characters. The dagger dropped to the ground and he fell to a single knee after it, though he didn't bend to pick it up. He bent to ...bow? His head stayed inclined as he bent and spoke. His voice was smooth and husky, deep and baritone. Exceptionally beautiful. "Earth female safe." 1st in Aliens: 09/21
A New Beginning: Tessa's Story by CrystalScherer
55 parts Complete
Optional sequel to Upon Wings Of Change. (This is a version with *JUST* Tessa's POV (different from the main version, which has 3 POVs. Was my attempt to revise the slower pacing, but I'm not sure how well it worked, but since I put in the work, here it is.) Summary: The dragonets are flourishing; both those in the park and those helping the Kymari. As the first dragonets to hatch in the Kymari civilization, Tessa and her brother are paving a new path as they grow up and learn how to fit into the world. New beginnings are often great things, but sometimes shadows from the distant past come calling. Excerpt: I braced my feet against the wall as I pulled. Suddenly, the lever swung downward. I lost my grip and tumbled backward. I landed on my side and slid across the counter. My legs and tail flailed as I tried to get to my feet or slow down-but I didn't manage it in time. Almost in slow motion, my feet went off the counter as I slid into the air. Without thinking, my wings popped open and beat hard as I twisted, trying to turn right side up so I could fly properly. I blinked in shock when I realized I was already flying upward. Grinning triumphantly, I beat my wings again and went back to the counter. Pleased with my flying abilities, I proudly landed on the counter - and forgot to slow down, which promptly sent me sliding across the slippery surface, lightly colliding with the glass door. I ducked my head sheepishly, glad no one else had seen that. My eyes locked onto the gap between the glass doors. With an eager grin, I pressed my shoulder against the edge and pushed. My feet struggled to find traction, but it was opening! Once I pushed the door far enough, I scampered over to the cantaloupe. It was much bigger up close. I blinked slowly, trying to think about how I was going to move it. There was no way I'd be able to lift it. It was round though. Round things could roll, right?

"Are you coming to bed firefly?" He says to me laying his hands over my waist joining me in looking over the city. "I want to look out for a little longer if that is alright?" I mumble hoping that he heard me anyways, I wasn't ready to walk into that bedroom, and I don't think I ever would be. "Of course, I'll be getting ready for bed, come in whenever you are ready." He says confidently and walks away leaving my waist cold something for which I am grateful. Especially when my mind burns with other more dangerous thoughts. The warmth that forever lingers in the air, never burning the skin, but always reminding about what is around us. I force air into my lungs feeling the unexpected warmth fill me. He stands in the room watching me even though he said he was getting ready for bed. He is worried about me, about me jumping. I have contemplated it I will admit, but he would stop me before I fell even two feet. I was stuck, and no one could save me. Not even myself, my fucking weak self. His presence is demanding no matter where we are, but right now I could sense everything about him, and I try to suppress the unwanted feelings that curl right under my skin. "Firefly? About done?" He calls out and I release my hand from the guard rail not realizing that as I looked at the lights that covered the shining city with the falling fire in the background that my subconscious was thinking about how nice it would be... how relieving it would be... to just fall. True freedom. I take a step back and wrap my hands together turning around to a fully clothed unchanged man and nod once. I could see the fear in his eyes that I would, he knows if he gave me the chance... I wasn't ready for this, but I had to survive. No matter what. Highest Ranks: #17 In Romance #5 in Soulmates

Xeno yearns to have access to The Nth Dimension like The White Boys, famed telepaths who suffered brain damage when they made contact with extraterrestrial intelligence. Out of work as a bartender since the Shoki Pao dance club mysteriously burned down, Xeno's lackluster lifestyle is getting harder to maintain. The public pill silos that dispense Sunlite, a one-size-fits-all mood elevating drug, haven't been refilled in months, so the citizens of Metropa turn to designer drugs like Black Magic, an addictive knock-off with terrible side effects. Having survived an overdose of Black Magic, and successfully revived by Drinama, a brain implant slipped to him as a Mickey at a job fair, Xeno earns an entry level position as an agent for secret service organization Intellegella. Garry, his handler, introduces Xeno to the industrial version of the black box, allowing Xeno's pineal gland access to synthetic sensory perception with the turn of a dial, along with the Noumenol patch, a skin absorbed drug that stabilizes his vital signs so that he doesn't suffer a cardiac arrest. Xeno's initial mission is to test the black box on the field, under Garry's watchful eye, and to locate Trianne, an ex co-worker, ex model, ex pole dancer for the Shoki Pao, gone missing and showing signs of spontaneous human combustion, an emerging side effect of Black Magic, and a public safety hazard. All he has to do is bring Trianne back to Intellegella for treatment. It's that simple . . . according to Garry.
