Your heart begins to thud. He's protecting you. Just like what any and every body guard should do. ... A touching fanfiction decorated with intricate detail, heart-racing action scenes and a painful yet deliciously sweet storyline. But the one thing the two had in common was that everybody already had their minds made up about them, that they were gonna die, because kids like them can't survive in this world, they're not safe, no matter what they think they never will be. Yet the two even from a young age are willing to prove them wrong, where Katniss taught Carl how to be brave and to stand up for himself while Carl taught her that it's okay to show compassion and to be scared. They wanted to keep each other safe
