Just a collection of poetry that I write. Yes, it's just another collection of poetry written by another angsty teenager. Sorry I'm not a professional and I don't have as much life experience, but I really don't care. I'm just going to write. I could say that I'm not like other teens, I could say I'm better than them when it comes to the drama and foolishness. That could be true. But, it also may not be. You can decide for your own, but it really doesn't matter. I write just to write. Just like how I dance.
This is the first thing I've posted on here, so please try to restrain any hate mail or what ever things you might want to say if you have any problems with it. If you don't like it, don't read it. If you have a problem, please talk to me about it and I'll fix it. Poetry is something I love, and though I prefer reading it, I can't help but try writing it myself.
Oh, and I'll try my best to keep any whiney, stupid poems about silly affections and such. Don't worry.

As we go through life, we meet people who deeply touch our hearts and change us in meaningful ways. They leave lasting marks on our souls, transforming who we are. The footprints they leave behind guide us towards growth, ensuring we can never retrace our steps to the person we once were. And then, there was him. We found each other at the precise moment when our souls were ready to collide. Love enveloped us, and in his arms, I discovered a deep sense of belonging. Everything felt right, as if the universe had conspired to bring us together. But life has a way of unraveling even the most beautiful stories. In a cruel twist of fate, the ground beneath us began to crumble. The very thing that had given us hope and joy now carried the weight of our lives, feelings, and emotions, threatening to snatch them all away. The perfect illusion shattered, leaving behind broken fragments of what once was. He is the one who taught me how to love. But as I stand here engulfed in his absence, I realize he forgot to teach me the most crucial lesson of all-how to let go. The pain of holding onto his memory is unbearable, yet I would endure it all, for it's a bittersweet reminder of the love we shared. I'd trade my everything for just one more moment with him, for even a fleeting moment holds more joy than a lifetime without knowing him. ❁❁❁ This is Book 3 of my Botanical Novel Series, but it can be enjoyed as a standalone book. This book was my first attempt at the OpenNovella contest and it made it through all the rounds . Though it was not a finalist on the long list finalist , I am so proud of what I have achieved. When the rest of the band stepped away slightly Dalton put his arm around my waist and I thought my knees were going to buckle. I knew what I was going to do, and I needed all the courage I could muster up. As my brother's thumb goes down to take the photo I suddenly turn my head, close my eyes, and kiss Dalton right on the cheek. Dalton is known as a "rockstar" playing shows every night in the biggest cities. Juliet is a wallflower ballerina in a small town. What happened when their world collide? And what will happen when someone from Daltons life tries to take what's rightfully his? An even bigger twist, you get to decide the ending. This was originally FacFiction that I changed into a sort of kind of legitimate story. I started it in high school and my 24 year old self is trying desperately to fix it because I've written two sequels to it as an adult. I'll also be publishing them once this one is fully published. If you don't like the story, I get it, I don't really either 😅. Trigger warnings: ⚠️ Eating disorders (I've experienced) ⚠️ Bipolar disorder (I did my best on the research) ⚠️ Child abuse (I've witnessed) ⚠️ Low self esteem (I've experienced) ⚠️A bit of self harm from another character (I've experienced) ⚠️Miscarriages (I've witnessed) If there are any that I've missed feel free to let me know!
