Some Background:
Most alternate sanses are attending a highschool, call the school whatever you like. This takes place in an AU thats not really an AU, seeing as there are no undertale characters.

There is a "Gang" in this school, it is comprised of Nightmare, Error, Cross, Killer, Horror, and Dust. Everyone is afraid of them, except for the Star Sanses.

Eventually, one of the star sanses, Ink, is able to befriend one of the bad guys, Error.

Error starts to develop feelings for the artist, but, when something bad happens to Ink, error wonders if he'll ever get a chance.

But Nightmare and Dream Are polar opposites, so Nightmare can't really get along with his brother's friends, nor Dream get along with Nightmare's, if he had any. With rules to follow and secrets to keep, Nightmare must go through highschool and not let slip the terrible things that happen at home. But then suddenly the two princes disappear. There's no trace as to who might've taken them, either. The only one that doesn't seem concerned is their own father, the king. King Sun-Beam. But when four new students show up, something changes. something is just off to Ink about the four. One Saturday morning, Ink sees a murder case on the news, when he sees who the skeleton killed was, he almost has a heart attack. Determined to find the person responsible for the murder, Ink and a few friends set off, they question people, do research, and even eavesdrop on a few conversations. But to find the person guilty, he'll have to know more than who was there and what weapon was used. What Ink doesn't know is that some people at his school are not who they say they are. To find the murderer, he'll have to know who these students are and what is different about them.
