Izuku Midoriya has a very powerful Quirk. One that was all about nature. Because of that, he had grown to enjoy the company of plants and animals more than he did people. He was often made fun of for how he preferred nature to people, which only served to make him dislike people even more. But, despite that, Izuku wanted to be a hero more than anything. Being a hero would give him the biggest chance he had to be an advocate for protecting nature while also getting to help people. It helped that he had a large brain to match his big heart. Despite how he disliked people, he had a main hobby of analyzing Quirks. He kept journals with him at all times for his notes about Quirks. Eventually, Izuku gains the attention of the one and only principal of UA, Nezu. The only known animal to have a Quirk. Nezu had learned of Izuku, his Quirk analyzing, and his love of nature. He grew interested in the young man and decided to get to know him. Let's see how the journey of our favorite green-haired hero hopeful changes when he both has a Quirk and a slightly chaotic mentor. Why, why can't he be a hero thought Izuku as All Might left him alone on the roof top overlooking the city. But little did Izuku knew was he wasn't truly alone rather someone with good intensions was waiting patiently on the roof with him ...a friend. This is a fanfic asking a question what if Izuku never got One For All and never got a quirk at all. Instead someone one else found him and offered him power that didn't stem from a quirk, rather it stemmed from the use of energies that are better described as magic. As two separate dimensional factions collide, vying for supremacy over the dimension one benign the other not so much. As you may have guessed I'm covering my butt on this but I don't own or never will own My Hero Academia. The only things I can say I own is well a few characters that are put into this story and concepts that stem from the content these characters originate from, and truth be told I didn't want to write this but I'd rather keep my two hundred dollars and write this fanfic because I lost a bet. I should also mention that this will follow semi-closely to the original story line of MHA with of course deviations as quite a few of the conflicts and plot points stemming from Izuku gaining One For All won't happen. Instead naturally they will be replaced with new plot points and conflicts originating from the absence of them for example the Meta Liberation Army will no doubt be gunning for Izuku due to the fact he has powers without a quirk.
