Once upon a nuclear apocalypse, the remaining inhabitants of this place that we call Earth and they now call The Dome (as they live inside one big dome, imaginative right.) Lila Romaldo is sick of her life, she goes to a school that she hates because her mum is the big boss. So all the other students hate her because she only got in because of her mum. But when her mum mysteriously disappears and she has to move in with her arch-enemy/ crush.  she finds a document that could change her life and the whole of the Domes life forever. Will she let humanity die out quietly or will they die out one scream at a time.

It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. Conner, now seeking any kind of closure, loses his mind. Finally reaching a breaking point and blaming Dome for everything. Threatening to kill him for what he had done.
