The precinct was left torn after the 99th Precinct most talented detectives, Jake Peralta and Amy Santiago, broke up. Heartbroken, Amy transferred out of the 99th Precinct, leaving a hole in the squad's dynamic.
Jake has never felt so alone, his heart is incomplete. He blames himself for how everything ended between them. Despite his friends best efforts to help and support him, it's not the same without someone in his life.
One day, a new and upcoming detective joins the squad. Y/n L/n. How will this new recruit affect the dynamic? Will a friendship spark between Peralta and L/n? Or maybe something more than friendship?
