Free As A Byrd

Florence Aveline Byrd had suffered a great deal during her life. Growing up alone, kept away from the world as the child of a faithful servant to The Dark Lord, unknown by even his closest Death Eaters, had far more downfalls than perks. After Florence senses her life is in grave danger one night and makes a dangerous decision that turns her world upside down, she is given the opportunity to hide in plain sight under the protection of strangers; one, in particular, who will help her to be the strong witch she must become in order to help save the wizarding world. But once it becomes clear to her that the Dark Lord has truly set his eyes on her, she must decide if she will continue to run, or fight the battle that she has been raised to - and which side will she choose to aide?
