"I'm glad it was you."
"Hm?" I asked.
"I'm glad it was you I got betrothed to." He turned to me.
"Why?" I looked up meeting his eyes.
"At least I get to spend the rest of my life with someone I can have fun with." He laughed and gave me a wink.
I laughed as well.

The stars twinkled in his eyes and it was as if the sun itself warmed his smile. His hair blew in the wind, the moon illuminating his features. Without realizing it, we both moved closer. Our eyes both full of sincerity. And it was at this moment, we knew, we were never the same.
