Beauty and the Beast AU

Two princes, born by the Queen Eva and the Demon king Sparda, both lead two very different fates. After the deaths of both the King and Queen, one ruled the kingdom as king, while the other was cursed for his own greed. Locked far away, in the deepest parts of the forest he lives waiting till he can be free of his curse. With the passing years his anger grows, his growls and calls can echo through the forest. After years of living in fear, the people in the nearest village deside to send a sacrifce to calm him. That is where you come in dearest reader.

DANTE X ORIGINAL CHARACTER Lynaria Woods lives a quiet and fulfilling life tending to her flower-medicinal shop after the death of her father leaving her to take up his place. Lynaria's typical day to day life is shaken when some of the denizens of her quaint town Celestia begin to disappear, only to be found in the early morning slain by some vicious creature leaving little trace of its intentions behind. On top of all going on in Celestia, a chance meeting with a certain infamous demon hunter causes Lynaria to take a step back from all she's perceived to have known. This causes her to have to open herself to new knowledge of herself as well as the world around her. Will meeting this demon hunter provide the safety she so prays for? Dante has been in the demon hunting business for 15 years and will always jump at the opportunity to help those in need. Taking the least to most dangerous missions, it helps stave off the loneliness he experiences intermittently, exacerbated by the thoughts of failing his brother and mother. One fateful phone call brings him to Celestia, England to face a threat terrorizing the young women of the city. When he crosses paths with an empathetic, reserved young woman, it causes a spark to ignite that he felt had gone out a long time ago. *Set after the events of DMC3 and before DMC1. Years after the events of DMC5, Vergil and Dante manage to escape the Underworld and seal it from anything powerful from being able to escape. The Sparda Twins make their way back to the shop, and are reunited with Nero, Trish, and Lady. Vergil sees Nero happy with Kyrie, and realizes he can't get Nero's forgiveness after what he did. So what does he do? He starts over, and finds love again. The katana wielding brother settles down with another woman, and has a second son for himself, one he will spend his time with, Y/N Sparda. However, being the Son of Sparda, there were still Demons that slipped through cracks of the Twin's Seal, and broke into the house, attacking the woman before being killed by Vergil. Heartbroken, he finds his son still alive, and in his mother's arms crying. Vergil vows to never let his son experience weakness like he did. He moves back with Dante and Nero, and joins the Devil May Cry Business, all while raising Y/N.

After literally jumping their asses back down to the underworld, and destroying the damn tree after fighting each other for the... god knows how much times they've fought each other, Dante and Vergil, the twin sons of sparda get interrupted from their fight with the demons by a portal that opened up and killing the demons in the process. Seeing as their ticket way out, and Dante seeing it as a way to have normal food like pizza and strawberry Sunday's again, the two go through it only to find out it wasn't a way home... but to another world, where the two quickly realise that they were called there by the god's because of a grave mistake that a 'useless' goddess made which could cause the other worlds destruction... and let's just say the two were outright PISSED at them.
