2 years later, 14 year old Josh Gojir awakens in his farm to find blood on the walls, and the sign that Titans have devoured his entire family. Pitied by an old family friend, Mikasa Ackerman, a member of the Survey Corps, takes Josh in. These reactors were powered by the primordial radioactive residue left by Godzilla and other Titans rather than conventional nuclear energy. Monarch quickly discovered that this residue contained incredible amounts of Titan DNA, and the United States would soon be the First Nation to benefit from Titan Energy. However, terror and disaster struck without warning the following year. After a magnitude 9.8 earthquake devastated the area, horrifying tourists and locals, all three reactors malfunctioned and detonated with a powerful shockwave, forcing the project to be relocated. Over 120,000 people were killed and 200,000 were left injured in the unprecedented aftermath. However, this was not the first time Hawaii had experienced a reactor incident. Supposedly, the world is at the state that the world beyond the wall is just a wasteland from Ghidorah and his subordinate's wrath... but Katie suspects otherwise, that the world outside is not a wasteland. Lucas on the other hand doesn't believe Katie and he wants to keep him and his dad safe as he's the only family he has left. His dad is a very good man, he works as much as he can and makes as much money as possible to keep a roof over their heads. He often tells Lucas about a time when humans and titans lived together and harmonized thousands of years ago... and their ancestors were one of the rare and lucky humans to have a bond with these magnificent gods.
