Refusing to watch his family crumble beneath the weight of poverty, Arran has resorted to stealing from the rich to provide for his mother and sister. Meanwhile, Princess Serafina, heir to the throne of Primsharah, welcomes an unusual suitor in the royal palace. As the Shah sinks deeper into his obsession with the Sphere, Inna starts experiencing visions about a thief stealing another Artifact, the Amulet of Doom.
