HONK!

"Certainly", the witch assured them, the very picture of sympathetic concern. " If I see any sign of your poor missing little boy around here, I'll be sure to send word to you."

Howard stamped hid webbed feet.
His mother look frightened as she hurriedly told the old witch, "Thank you.
You're very kind." Then she tugged on Father's sleeve, obviously anxious to get out of there. Her fear for Howard combined with fear of Howard, and tears overflowed her eyes and ran down her cheeks.

"I . . .am ... Howard", Howard honked so slowly and distinctly they had to understand him.

[COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living. BROKEN VOW

50 parts Complete

I stop at the last room, stare at the number on the door and crosscheck it with the one with me. I stuffed the paper away and ready myself for what lies behind the closed door. I lean on the door for a while and could hear voices but were incoherent. I tap twice on the door and the voices stopped. I repeated the process and received a response that sounded more like Hillary's voice. "Who is it?" He asked from behind the door. I knocked back instead, I didn't trust myself to sound differently. The door flew open in a second and I quickly wedge the door with my leg to prevent him from shutting it on my face. His face went pale on seeing me. I scanned him from head to toe. He was only in his brief. He tried blocking my view with his body but I push him aside forcefully. "Who is at the door, love?" Love? What a joke! Both our eyes snapped in the direction of the voice. I thought I heard my heart leap but not for joy, in pains. It was as though a knife was scrolled into my chest. "This is your Ghana?" I scoffed and walked past him in the direction of the voice, "I was at the door" I said catching her attention... • • • • • A charming couple (Nick and Lauren ) had to navigate their way out of a storming marriage that was once cemented by love.
