It's been fifteen years since the death of King William of Ankaid, who perished along with his wife and his second son. Out of his grief, the newly crowned King Fabian throws a festival every year on the day of their deaths, to ensure his family stay remembered. The group responsible for the assassination never owned up, leaving the Khearian kingdom not knowing who robbed them of one of their most beloved kings.

Infamous assassin, Jay, had lived on the streets since he was nine years old. He found his way with his relic sword, Eris, and lives a dangerous but profitable life killing who he's told to. But, at the ripe age of twenty five, Jay receives a request from an anonymous client who refused to be identified. It was a request that would threaten everything that Jay had built. Tear down everything he'd made. A request that, once he heard, he knew he wouldn't allowed to live to refuse.
