It's been almost eight months since they left the farm. Despite Rick killing Shane, Emily and Carl remained the best of friends. This changes when feelings that weren't there before spark up and change their friendship forever. 

When the group finds a new place to live and suffer great losses along the way, how will these feelings be revealed and how will the two, now teenagers, react?

And when the Governor looms over them, old friends appear possibly destroying everything they've created?

Other than friendship and danger, how will Emily react when the biggest secret of her life is revealed and changes who she thought she was?
