"Life is a game of chess. You are the player and everything you could make use of is in your hands. Kill, manipulate and adapt. There are blunders, mistakes as well as opportunities on the board waiting to be made."

An assassin's life is pretty simple.
Once you get a job, just follow the orders and end a miscreant's life.

That's it.

That's how Gaela lived her whole life, following orders of the higher ups and ending lives with her close group of acquaintances. She have no family, no emotions let alone will to live, always ready to die in a mission.

One day, she receives an important mission that her close group of acquaintances cannot interfere with; protect David Moon, a young aspiring chess player who attends St. Peter's, a prestigious secondary school with the title as the Quintessential Chessman. How could an assassin who specialises with marksmanship protect someone who is targeted by many without realising without the help of her acquaintances? How would someone like Gaela adapt to a normal school life in order to protect David?

What are the chances of Gaela meeting famous enquiry agents that can put her life in danger as well as famous serial killers and thieves in her fabricated school life? Pretty low right..? Right??

Watch as Gaela trudges through her mission to protect David Moon, doing side missions, making friends and learning what 'emotions' truly means on the way.

He smiles at her, "Don't worry. You're about to find out. Anticipation is the key to anything." He gives her a wink. "I love you," she breathes out as she gives him a look of pure adoration. He grins at her before responding. "I love you too, baby." He closes his eyes and walks up to them, his target already on his mind. Without hesitation, the knife makes an impact on the person's stomach. A warm gooey substance pools onto his cold hands. His laugh resonates through the building mixing with the grunts as he sticks the knife into the guy several more times until he feels the body lie limb in his arms. He smiles at this and opens his eyes to see. Taking off the blindfold of his victim, he sees the lifeless brown eyes of the person whose life he just took. Schmitty's own eyes were void of everything and anything, all he could see were those brown eyes. "Nooooo", Schmitty wakes up with a loud gasp, searching for air as his scream fills the almost empty room. With a frantic look on his face, he searches his silver silk bed sheets and body for blood. He sighs in relief when he finds nothing. His eyes look around the unfamiliar room, trying to remember where he was. His mind is a bit hazy but he can make out the small cottage they were in. His eyes wander over it, trying to remember why he was here. ... Nikki and Schmitty are the perfect power couple criminals. They steal for the thrill and kill because they know they can get away with it. The only problem is, Schmitty starts remembering, and whos to say- what's real or not.

Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. He was staring at me with an expression of pure hatred. I stared back. I must admit, even with such a nasty look on his face, he was rather attractive. His powerful arms were crossed, the unzipped leather jacket tight around the biceps. I could just make out dark tattoos poking out of the white collar of his uniform, brushing against his sharp jawline. His dark brown hair, do dark it was nearly black, looked as if he had sat in front of the mirror styling it, or perhaps he had just got out of bed. Still, as I turned to sit, I couldn't help but feel as if those deep, storm blue eyes were still watching me, burning a hole in my back. I didn't know his name, but the look he gave me made me feel as if he knew everything, and I mean everything about me. Word count: 90,000 warnings: mature themes and violence

-I had unpublished this in hopes of editing and republishing. But i have lost my motivation for this story and cannot say if i will ever return to it. My deepest apologies.- "As an advanced civilisation, we prefer to stay alive so to further our knowledge, not to mention the factor of a human's fear of death. But, despite all this, weapons for mass destruction have still been made and are still in use to this day. By now you would think that the need for these armaments is little to none, but we still use and are trained in the use of such instruments of death. This is one of the many faults of man." When abandoned at birth, children have only two places to go; a home or an orphanage. For children in an orphanage, once they turn 15 they are taken to the SFYA - School For Young Assassins. Jayla is one of those select few who have been taken to this school. It's her first year and on day one she is put to the test. Find out what happens to Jayla as you take a dive into 'School For Young Assassins'. Who knows, you might learn some skills of your own along the way. [WARNING!!!: This story may be more lighthearted than other assassin books, but this one contains swearing at varying degrees, also some potential gore. If you don't like it, don't read it!] Completed: DD/MM/YYYY?
