"You know what to do with her, correct?" He stops clicking his pen and looks me dead in the eyes. I gulp.

"Yes." I nod.

He takes his feet off his work space and adjusts himself. He chuckles and shakes his head in disapproval.

"I had an agent just like you, Sam. His mission was to kidnap his victim just like how you will. Sex trafficking. Well... that didn't go as planned because you see instead of completing his mission he got too close to her. Fell in love. Thought he wouldn't be found. I'm sure you wouldn't want to know the rest. I suggest you don't do the same."

"I won't fail you, sir." I get up shaking his hand before walking out.

Fall in love? Pathetic.

*DISCLAIMER*
I'm a very very (as you see) tiny writer and your support on reading my chapters would encourage me to write more. I'm still getting the hang on putting in extra details for what every character does so please bear with me as I get the hang of it. I hope you enjoy reading my book! :)

I say quietly, vulnerability seeping into my words. "How we even became friends." He sighs, "I want to know how." I scrunch my brow. "How what?" His response is soft, the opposite of his sarcastic personality. "How you don't see it." ******* Reagan Holt was about as average as a high school student could be. She didn't play any sports, didn't participate in the popular activities, and wasn't the girl all the boys chased after. All except one boy. He wrote her a letter every week. Each letter described something new for him to love about her. Whether it was how beautiful her laugh was or how his heart swelled with every smile she gave, he never failed to write how he felt. So the two should be together, right? That's the way Reagan wants it, but there's just one problem. He signs his letters "Love, Anonymous."
