Everything is about change for Mason, all because of a man named Owen Parker. He wants to take the only thing that Ramona has ever truly loved. He wants to adopt her brother, and there is nothing she can do to stop him. Though after years of running and years of pain, Ramona knows just how badly Mason needs a home. Lexi Parker tried living with her aunt after her mother passed away but the undisciplined twelve year old was too much for the young mother to handle. So, now she is finding out that she is having to go live with her true guardian, Dameon, her oldest brother, a High School teacher, whom she hasn't lived with since she was seven years old. Dameon already has had custody, for the past two years, of her other brothers, Chandler 16, and Tyler 14. Now, he is adding his willful, headstrong and at times rebelliously defiant little sister who had been allowed to live a very unstructured and undisciplined lifestyle. Also, joining in this new family endeavor is, her next to oldest brother, Dalton who now is a police officer. Dameon and Dalton both understand and recognize she needs consistent structure and discipline incorporated with love and understanding, in her life. For Lexi, she is walking into a whole new way of life one where she will now have to abide by someone else's rules, Dameon's rules. For though he is not afraid to show his emotions and runs a loving, safe home, it is also well disciplined and rule strict. It seems Lexi is destined to have to learn the hard way that he is unwavering and will not compromise on his punishments when it comes to breaking these rules. These two are now on a collision course that can only end up with lots of tears and spankings for Lexi. So, who will win...the determined little sister, or the more determined older brother?
