Jace Beleren thinks he's done with his biggest job, but it turns out the adventures are just beginning! After being sucked through a planar portal, the same as six of his friends, our telepath protagonist winds up in modern-day New York. Luckily, he's not alone in being a stranger to Earth. He is joined by the fearless Liana, the watermage, Marth, the quantum physics professor, and Phoenix, Maya, Apollo, and Athena--the shapeshifting lawyers from the world of Columba City. With a mix between unusual legal cases and pitched battles against entities trying to exploit New York City's quantum instabilities, the action never ends for this group of seven.
