The Skin-changers were once a proud people who lived in the Misty Mountains. That was before the orcs invaded. All were either killed or enslaved for sport. All but Beorn died eventually in those caverns. Or so he thought...
Niatha was born a skin-changer until their race was taken by the goblins. She believed she was the only survivor, and so did he. Her help is needed on the quest to Erebor. On this quest she will discover that she is not alone in this world. She is not the last...
Trust is a thing that must be earned the hard way: there are no short-cuts, not cheats. A problem like this could mean the exposing of the most closely guarded secret a girl has ever held, for dwarves fear and hunt what they believe to be a threat. Even if they don't fully understand its meaning.

These men, despite them not being bound to the fate of mortality, were not remotely similar to elves in their appearance. They were created by Manwë, Ulmo and Melkor on accident when their enourmous energies crashed, fused and birthed from bare rock, water, fire and air a living, breathing creature. Their appearance and temper was a reminder of their creation. Isolated from the folks of middleearth they lived a life amongst their own, hailing their creators and the Iluvatár as their highest gods. They were the only folk that still spoke the name of the forsaken Valar with worship in their hearts. I do not claim any ownership of the Lord of the Rings franchise. Wisteria is an elf but of a rare breed. She is the daughter of the king of Mirkwood yes, but she is more powerful than even him. Her mother gave to her the rare and precious gift of skin-changing before she died. Most of the time she is an elf, but when she changes, she is a lion, a wolf, and even a blue fire-breathing dragon. I don't own The Hobbit characters or the story plot itself. I only own Wisteria as a character.
