[Book 1 of the Mia Series]

This story is about Mia and the struggles she deals with throughout her senior year in high school. Unfortunately, she has had no choice but to survive many obstacles in her life up to this point. Mia's biological parents rejected her at an early age, leading to her getting adopted by parents who alienate her. She gets continuously bullied and has a lot of inner battles within herself. As time passed, she found a best friend to help her overcome it all. In the end, this is about how one girl endeavors her way through life and, ultimately, graduation.

A/N: Hello, everyone! Mia is my first book and is a fictional story, although there are many parts based on my experiences. With that in mind, please be kind. Lol. All comments and critiques are always welcome. I want to thank you ahead of time, and I hope you enjoy it!

I was 5 years old when I met Mia. I knew I loved her from the day I met her. We did everything together, and we were inseparable. People judged us. All eyes were on us because she is black and I am white. We didn't mind because we were each other's light during the darkness of their stares. I never understood why it is so easy for people to hate, as opposed to love. Kindness is contagious, and we all should pass it along. I fell in love with Mia. Her flaws were perfect in my eyes, and I knew she would always be my Mia. I love her just as much as the bees love honey. I love her so much to the point her love is the only unconditional love I ever knew. Sad, but dreadfully true, when I look in Mia's eyes, I wonder, does she feel the same way about me. Am I her light? Does she accept my flaws, and are they perfect in her eyes? Am I the sun to her desert? Am I her rainbow after a rainy day? I hope she loves me just as much as I love her. My biggest concern is-after all the years we've been best friends, will our parents accept us? I'm scared. I'm afraid that if I tell Mia how I feel, I will lose everything we have built. I keep asking myself, should I express my feelings, or should I keep them to myself? I deserve to be loved, right? I will never know unless I take a chance. Will I have the courage, or will I let my true love slip away? I've always believed that the stars choose our lovers. I wonder did the stars choose Mia for me?

[Book 2 of the Mia Series] Seven years have passed since the girls graduated high school together. This story begins as Cambria does her best to balance different aspects of her life the moment she decided to pursue her dream, while Mia is the ever-supporting partner and now works two jobs to support their career choices, bills, and current home life. How well will these two handle the stress that occurs with being an adult? Will they find time for each other even with busy schedules? Are they going to be able to further their careers, get married, or have kids? Can Cambria and Mia's love for one another rise above whatever may come their way? _____________________________________________ This story is a sequel, but I have written it in a way that allows for it to stand alone. Nevertheless, I still recommend that you read 'Mia' first before reading 'Bri' to understand this book better. Either way, the decision is entirely up to you. Please note that none of the photos I've used for the characters in chapter one are mine; they belong to their rightful owners. I only used them as a means to show you how I feel they should look like. But, of course, you are free to imagine the characters as you see fit. All that matters, in the end, is to enjoy the story! =) ⚠️ Warning: ⚠️ This story contains strong language, possible trigger moments, lesbian material, and mature sexual content. Ellie has been not-quite-flirting with her housemate’s friend Mia, and not really thinking too much about it, until one day Mia offers to follow through on the flirting. Ellie is surprised, but decides she’d like to try, and slowly a relationship begins to evolve. Mostly a physical relationship, and a confused relationship, but it seems to work for both of them. Um, oops, so I forgot to change this part. I'm sorry! So this is finished for now, but might come back later, and sorry if that seems to be kind of teasey. Because, erm, well, it is… And also, so this is now made into ebooks, which are now on Amazon and Smashwords and other places. And as paper on Amazon. Should anyone care about that, because if you're reading this right now you've probably realized you can read it on Wattpad... so um, yeah. That doesn't quite make sense... But! Just to be clear, all the words are exactly the same, there's no difference or anything, so don't think it's been edited or something. And just to be confusing they’re called Touching Mia and Tasting Mia, because it all went a long way away from being about housemates, really. And two books, because this got really long. So anyway... Touching Mia - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I3OWFWG Tasting Mia - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I3J93EY And thank you for looking! And thank you to everyone who's reading it, I'm incredibly grateful! And I hope you enjoy! That's all.
