In mourning the loss of her father, twenty-one year old Gemeela "Gem-Doll" Dalton finds herself desperately searching for love amongst men most like him, spending countless nights in strangers homes in hopes of one day filling her void.

After discovering her father's long ties in their home city of Atlanta, Gem is left wanting to know more about his life and what it ultimately means for her.
