This story is one I've had in the works for over 3 years now, and finally took a stab at writing a year ago... I wrote it for an English project and have been hesitant to post but decided to anyways. I know its not great, hell its rubbish compared to the plans I had. Either way here it is, hope you guys like it and maybe I'll fully flesh it out and write it completely. Anyways on with the plot!
~~~~
Skeletals came in three varieties in the afterworld of dragon-kind... Drakes were always the top dogs, holding the highest positions and with the sheer strength to back it.  Dragons were always middle-class, not powerful enough to gain much other than necessities to scrape by in the afterlife.  Wyverns were the lowest of the low... mainly kept as pets or slaves by the others, and laughed at for being the weakest of all.  Skeletals are categorized not only by their variety but by their horn count... the less horns the better, 1-horns the best and 7-horns the weakest.
Theo was your average dragon, just trying to scrape by in school, but he's hiding a dangerous secret.  Once discovered he must leave home and begin his journey alongside two companions, a Wyvern named Speedy and a Dragon named Boonz...
In a small village, half hidden along a mountainside, Kieren was slinking between shadows. Footsteps sure even with so little moonlight. The softest brush of bare skin against knobbled and far-reaching trees. Not even a whisper of sound from stepping on the coarse dirt beneath his feet. In this world, Drakes were the epitome of power amongst the species. Only making up 10% of the population, humans making up the other 90%. Drakes could be found in the highest positions of power in communities or in positions to protect others (such as guards, watchmen, knights, patrolman). No one questioned this, dragons taking care of their own. A private species with traditions and rules that only dragons were privy to. Making sure none over-reached so that there would always be peace and harmony amongst the dragon territories and between humans. A symbiosis that all worked hard to maintain. Humans were born with vibrant and colorful hair throughout the world. The more rare the color, the more blessings, respect, luck and riches came to them. Fiery red, leafy green, aqua blue. Eyes that matched their brightest feature. Dressing in the same colors or even brighter shades to demonstrate their extravagance, their standing in society. They normally worked side by side with the higher ranking dragons, helping to keep harmony. All Kieren knew was that he would have to remain cloaked, face obscured at all times. The villagers said he was a defect, so they made him their servant. His skin too pale. Form too slight. Eyes not right. An ugly thing where he should be thankful they did not kill him right away. To be grateful for their pity and staying their hand. The worst, they would tell him, was about the coloring of his features; his hair and eyes. It was a color that had never been seen before amongst humans or dragons. *Please read tags! Don't like, don't read, don't leave unhelpful nasty comments.
HTTYD AU, takes place after httyd 2 Our story follows one peculiar dragon named Dancer. She is all night fury, but she certainly doesn't look the part. Dancer is an albino. When Dancer was young, her older brother, Apollo, left their island home. She never knew why, only that, one day, he stopped interacting with her. The pupils of his eyes turned to slits, and he flew off, into the sunset - leaving her behind. She was heartbroken. Whatever his reasoning, because of her older brother's choice, Dancer came to a conclusion. She decided that she would never be left behind again, EVER again. Days turned to nights, which turned to weeks, then months, and, finally, years. With plenty of practice, Dancer became the fastest dragon ever to be known- much faster than your average night fury. ~~}•{~~ One day, Toothless and Hiccup went for a flight. Coming back down from a flight, Toothless's tail got jammed, and they went down. Hiccup was fine, but Toothless got a nasty knock to the head and went out like a light. When he awoke, something was off. He could never remember what had happened before the Red Death, always assuming that he had been her slave since hatching, but that wasn't the case. He had a life before that, and he finally remembered it! He had a name. He had a family. A sister! What was her name?! ....Dancer. ~~}•{~~ After a big crash, Toothless was acting weird. Hiccup was worried, his best friend was always staring off into the sky, but never wanted to leave. Toothless wasn't eating. He was barely sleeping, too. Hiccup didn't know what was wrong, and neither did Gothi! What would he do? A/N: As of 8/7/21, this book has been COMPLETED! I don't really like how it turned out, but thank you, if you decide to read this! Disclaimer: You've seen these before, I don't own anything other than the storyline and my OCs, the rest belongs to DreamWorks and Cressida Cowell.
In a world dominated by werewolves, Odette leads a simple, human life until what was supposed to be the best day of her life, her wedding day, takes a nightmarish turn. Luca, a powerful world-leader and Alpha, claims her as his mate, which forces her into a desperate fight for her freedom. Now on the run, Odette encounters challenges that will test her wit and strength. Will she surrender to the relentless pursuit, or fight back? ~~~ I round the corner to see a group of freakishly-tall and handsome men. There were three men in the group, one instantly stood out to me even with his back toward me. He had deep black hair and I could tell strong lean muscles were hidden beneath his button-up shirt. I falter in my steps a bit, something in my mind telling me to go another way, to ask someone else for help with directions. But I keep walking closer. Something else within me tells me it will be okay. As I get closer, the two men who were facing my direction look towards me and I stop, keeping a safe distance. Hopefully they are able to help me, and not turn me away just because I'm a human. "Hi, um, could you tell me where the front desk is?" The man whose back was facing towards me stiffened. "I think I'm a little..." The man turned toward me so quickly it made my heartbeat waver. His deep blue eyes pierced into my brown ones and called out to me. His jawline was chiseled to perfection, lips parted slightly in awe. Every feature of his face was meticulously handcrafted by God. I never thought I could find a wolf so elegant. He was...beautiful. Something in the air shifted. I could feel it in my bones. "...lost," I finished my sentence after a brief pause. No one answered me. Did I say something wrong? I look between the three of them and see that the two men behind the man who was staring so intently at me were looking between me and him. "Mate."
Nova disguise as a boy to enter the military school. If she is discovered as a girl, she will be kicked out. She is desperate to hide from trackers who have been following her for a dozen years. No one would think to look for her in an all-male military school. She hides among werewolves and is one of the very few nonshifters at the school. She catches the new instructor's curiosity, and her identity is threatened. He claims to be her mate, but she knows that her kind don't have a mate and desperately tries to avoid him. If he stumbles upon her true identity, she is screwed. "What are you doing?!" growls his highness, ripping the knife from my hands. It tingles as his fingers close around my wrist. Fresh blood flows from the wound, turning his hands red. Deep throaty sounds, rumbling in his chest. "You hurt yourself," he says softly, pain evident in his voice. I look up and frown. "It's just a small cut," I reply, annoyed. None of the other cadets get this kind of attention. Besides, we have to learn this to pass the exam. "Shhh, it's going to be okay," he says, pressing me close. My whole side explodes with sparks. It tickles me. "You have to stop hurt yourself. Why are you even here? How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha.
