Years ago, humans and dragons were at war.
As punishment for their violence, both species were cursed by an angry goddess. Ever since then, dragons have been confined to human bodies while humans have completely forgotten about magic.
But Jaden Longtail, a former dragon, doesn't want it to be this way. He was only a child when everyone was cursed, and he wants to experience the thrill of being g a dragon and flying through the skies. But the only way to do so would be to confront the gods themselves, in the Realm of Clouds.

Regaining Wings is a fantasy novella and my entry for ONC 2020 using prompts #24 and #29.
Qualified for round 2!

Recently republished the chapters just so they exist somewhere but I've stopped writing on Wattpad so I don't plan on continuing this. (same situation with Dragonriders, which this is a prequel to)
