In this sequel, Charlotte is on her path for recovery. She is left heartbroken after Chris, with only Scott there to comfort her. But she even pushes Scott away, and refuses to contact Chris even as he tries to reach out to her. While she tries to bury herself in her schoolwork, she comes across a discovery that causes her path to become much more bumpy and unnavigable. She must keep this secret while repairing her broken heart and trying to find the happiness she deserves.
