Fresh out of a bad break up, Avery Cormier thought he wasn't the least bit interested in romance until he found it in the most peculiar place; on a scribbled note in the library. Unfortunately, he has no idea who his new pen pal is, only that they're a witty and charming bad movie lover that goes by the name K.

When he takes the chance to ask for a meet up, K shoots him down, leaving him pondering over why and in a desperate search to discover K's true identity. But with his ex lingering on his mind and in his life, moving on may be harder than he thought, especially when K suddenly wants to cut off all contact. The question of why is only explained when K's identity is accidentally revealed and it's the last person he could have imagined.
