Jack has visited Jamie like he promises to do every time he can. He leaves to go on his winter spreading duty and has a meeting with the guardians to go to afterwards. As he leaves he is kidnapped and taken by two strange men for un known reasons. They're paid by an unknown source to capture and bring him to a unknown location. Eve Hallows, the Spirit of Halloween. She helps the Guardians in stopping Pitch Black while trying to keep the precious belief in children. Along the way, bonds are formed, and feelings develop.
