Something That Feels Quiet | Hwang Hyunjin
25 parts Complete Hyunjin doesn't mean to end up in the small gallery tucked between a bakery and an alleyway- but it's raining, and the door's open, and he's tired in a way he can't explain.
Aeri doesn't recognize him. She's too busy trying to remember what it means to make art that feels like hers again.
They don't talk much at first. Then they do.
Not about everything, but about the things that matter.
Sketchbooks are exchanged. Silence is shared.
Somewhere in the middle of all that stillness, they start becoming something to each other.
Not lovers. Not strangers. Just... safe.
And when the world starts noticing, neither of them runs.
They just stay exactly where they are.

This story is quiet on purpose.
I started 'something that feels quiet' because I wanted to explore what it means to be known in silence, not because of who you are to the world, but because of who you are when no one's looking.
It's not a story about grand confessions or fast-paced drama. It's about the small things: an unreadable look, the stillness between two people, the comfort of being seen without being recognized.
Aeri and Hyunjin's connection isn't loud. It's soft and slow, like art you stand in front of for a long time before realizing why it moves you.
If you've ever felt burnt out, like your presence takes up too much space, or maybe not enough, I hope this story gives you a moment of peace-something gentle, something still.
Thank you for being here
and for letting quiet things have space to bloom.
