When Juvia drops her diary one day at the guild, Gray sees it and picks it up, not knowing that it's a diary or that it's Juvia's. The next day, Juvia looks everywhere for it and sees Gray reading it. Embarrassed, she asks Lucy to get it back, but Lucy decides to make a deal. To either ask Gray out or at least kiss him, or do none and never get the diary back.
