Maya, Alyssa, Eshan, Nolan et Joshua, sont amis depuis l'enfance, ils sont tellement proches qu'on les surnomme Five ; comme les cinq doigts de la main. 

Leurs amitiés paraissaient indestructible, pourtant à la suite d'un drame tous se sont éloignés petit à petit, d'autres ont même décidés de quitter la ville,  l'époque Five est belle est bien révolue. 

Seule Maya est restée, elle est désormais enseignante dans le lycée de son quartier, mais quand après 5 ans, elle se trouve face a face avec l'homme responsable de tout ça,  celui ci étant venu donner une intervention dans sa classe, elle ne sait pas trop comment réagir, elle ne s'entendais vraiment pas a le revoir, et encore moins ici, a Seattle, dans sa classe, face a ses élèves.

As I step into the elevator I click the button for the first floor. As the door closes I rest my head against the wall and close my eyes. I really need a nap. I hear the door open and I quickly open my eyes and walk out. As I feel my phone vibrate I take it out and see Mom left me a message. Mom: Have fun and be careful! Especially around those boys. I love you, Taylor. Try not to push yourself too hard, we all have our limits. Right as I was beginning to respond I feel myself bump into something hard. And before I knew it, I was falling. I tightly shut my eyes as I wait for the impact of the fall. But instead, I hear papers hit the ground and feel arms around my waist. I slowly open my eyes to see another pair of blue eyes looking down at me. And even though I've seen a couple of cute guys before, they couldn't compare with this guy. He was beautiful
