Buried deep in a pit of his own overwhelming negativity and sadness, Lance believes he'll be wallowing and mourning Allura's death forever... that is, until an old friend and former "rival" returns, which finally forces Lance to take another chance at finding true happiness... and unknowingly tortures him with feelings he thought had gone away.

Based on Netflix show known as Voltron: Legendary Defender, with some of my own headcanons added. 
I'm not sure if I will or will not have to inform you of this, but I do not own any of the already existing Voltron characters. I may add some of my own original characters, but I'm not sure (I probably will though). 
In case you were wondering, the word "quiznak" may be used, but there will be no actual quiznaking (so in other words, I'm not writing smut into this).

Unsure of what to do he remembers when a certain moody mullet head confessed his love the same night he confessed his love for Allura. Determined to see whether those sparks still glimmered for him he decides to speak with Keith about a past left untouched. When the anniversary of Allura's passing came around he decided that was the best time to reconnect but who would've thought that the stars refused to align when Keith was found injured and unconscious with a beautiful stranger by his side. Will Lance ever find out if Keith still fancies him like before? Why was Keith injured and who is this stranger who won't leave his side? (I know this fandom is long gone but I rewatched Voltron several weeks ago before they removed it off Netflix. I forgot how much I loved it and how we were deprived of Keith and Lance ever being together so I decided to create this story. (What if Lance had frozen and couldn't ask Allura out on a date in Season 8, Episode 1? Instead, Lance realizes his feelings for Keith and asks him out on a date. This is my take on fixing Voltron and writing what I believe should have happened.)
