After two years of teaching as a junior instructor at the esteemed school: Top Gun, Pete "Maverick" Mitchell returns for a second round of training. 

In that same span of time, Y/N "Arrow" Y/L/N has joined the ranks. As a top flight trainee, she is sure to rise to the top of the program. 

While together, Maverick and Arrow discover, through similarities of their past, that they just might be what they've both been searching for their whole lives.
