It's been 4 months since Beaumont Swan was turned into a vampire at the hands of the rogue nomad James. During this time he easily adjusted to his new life and gained great control over his powers and thirst for blood.

3 months after he was turned, Beau was deemed safe to move back in with his father and sister something he was overjoyed about. With everyone used to his new appearance, Beau hopes things can return to normal, whatever his new normal is.

But when his and Bella's 18th birthday ends in disaster and heartbreak, Beaumont finds himself completely alone as a Newborn vampire. With friends now foes and strangers becoming the most trusted friends, Beau's life as a vampire seems to becoming more complicated as the months go by.
