CarlyAnne Spears, or Midnight as some know her, is a nerd. She gets bullied but also gets straight A's. Her family is wealthy and Carly happens to be spoiled sick. Not that she wants to be, she hates being rich. That's where street fighting comes in. Zander Barns, or The Bar as some know him, is the bad boy of the school. Every boy wants to be him and every girl wants to date him. He uses girls like tissues, once used, they get thrown away. He owns the don't give a fuck attitude. But there is more to him than people know and to hide that side of him, he street fights. What happens when they meet? How do they meet? What extreme measures will Carly go to hide her secret? And what will Zander do to keep his personal life personal? It all goes down in Nerd By Day, Street Fighter By Night. Caution- I wrote this in 7th grade and am now editing. Read at your own risk.

Duck I drop down. The smell of sweat and alcohol fill my nostrils. I feel the air swish above my head as his fist flies over my head. Crack That's the sound his kneecap makes when I slam my sneaker-covered foot into it. His scream It makes me feel alive knowing I caused it. The pure bliss his agony gives me. I jump up straight and smirk, saying my signature sentence. "I bet you regret thinking I was weak!" His face looks alarmed when I say that phrase. As it should. Everyone knows I say that when I'm about to end a fight. Blood That's what gushes down his sweaty face when I jam my fist into his big nose. I watch and sigh in content as I see his boring brown eyes roll back and gravity take over. RING I won. The screams echo around me. Everyone cheering one thing. "Queen Karma!" I'll always win. ******************************************** Olive - the badass girl in every single way. She's a streetfighter that's undefeated. No one knows her secret and she would like to keep it that way. Forced to dress as a nerd in school, how long until she loses it? Tyler - a major player and gang leader. I sit down on my bike looking around the school parking lot. Listening to music, I stand up begin to walk through the student-less parking lot. Honestly, it's not like I meant to be late. My music cut out causing me to hear a whistle. I stop in my tracks and pull my headphones down to my neck. Turning around, I seen a group of men with one guy who just smirked at me. "You new here beautiful?" one of the guys asked. "What do you think Einstein?" cocking my brow. "Ohh. Challenging? I like." he says walking towards me, about two inches away. "Really?" biting my lip, as he continued walking towards me. He reaches out and grabs my hip, "Mmhmm," smiling down at me. Swiftly, I grab his hand, turn him around, kick him right above the back of his knee, and pushes down so he's on his knees in front of me in a position of which I could brake his arm, "What a shame, 'cause personally, I don't like fuck boys with various STD'S." I look at all the men in the group who had their jaws dropped, all except for one, "Touch me one more time, and I'll brake your arm in two." I stand and kick his back so he falls on the concert. "Anyone else?" they stare at me blankly. "Didn't think so." When fuck boy tries to get up, I take my foot and slam him back down. Looking back at the boys, I say, "Later boys." A Medieval Action work with a number of different genre as each round's prompts dictate. Battles, Kings, princes, a princess; crowns, plots, twists and turns. Achiever of all the nine belts. WINNER OF ROUND 9 - "A NEW WORLD" Something different for me to stretch my writing skills and get back into one of the things I love most in my life - to create stories. this 'work' idea has been created by Ambassadors here for this "Write to Rank Contest 2022" - each chapter (round) to be written from a prompt given by the contest creators. The first round is a very quick read indeed, - a DRABBLE - a story of exactly 100 words, no more, no less; however much ACTION. ROUND 5 - MORE twists and turns in this unexpected but amazing challenge - mashing up fantasy and action - battles; legends exposed under-cover; flying with eagles; a rare mental condition called today "Boanthropy" - seemingly of fantasy but a historic king suffered 7 years from it! Not a witch - maybe not even an 'Angel' - more human than she seems... Yellow Belt: 500 word flash fiction about a high speed chase. Orange Belt: 800-word flash fiction that contains a dialogue between good and bad. Green Belt: 1k (min) and 1.2k (max) words - Mystery mashup with action. Blue Belt: 1.2k words - science fiction mashup with action. Purple Belt: 1k - 1.2k words - historical fiction mashup with action. Brown Belt: 2k word one-shot with the following incorporated: An explosion, a damsel (distressed or not), the words - "There is no stopping this madness." and lastly a big old cliffhanger.
