To be completely honest, Alessia Oswald has no idea who she is; although she doesn't mind. After her mother's sudden death and the borderline kidnapping by the stranger who just so happened to be vacationing in London, 1892, she is left questioning everything: Why can't she remember the beginning of her life? How did she end up where she was? And who, exactly, is He?

With these questions and more, Alessia takes to space. After a near miss with a crowd of Judoon and an afternoon with Cleopatra (accompanied, as always, by the probably dead August and Oliver the cat), she learns to face her future. And, simultaneously, the man who wants to bring it to an end.

"The girl who waited and the last centurion," I tested their nicknames on my lips, hoping to get a small flicker of happiness, but I was only met by the weight on my heart doubling. A tear slipped down my cheek that soon turned into a waterfall. They're gone. Dead. The Doctor is heartbroken, devastated after the death of Amy and Rory. His heart and mind opens to the screams of humans on Earth. One stands out, a little girl screaming, "PAPA". Then I heard it. Even more than I could feel with two hearts. After walking for five minutes in the uniform tree line, I saw a tall fence surrounding an ominous brown building which somewhat resembled a prison. There were no windows, only wire mesh lining the entire building and hard concrete pillars in between. Surely the girl I'm looking for couldn't be in here? The Doctor uncovers a girl with a dark secret, will the Doctor save her or will she drag him down with her so they both burn. First they had to find Eleven. Now they have to find Twenty Two. He sighed; shaking his head slightly, patting her on the head. "See you both in five minutes." He promised, jumping into the blue police box as the sisters observed, holding hands.
