A Dove's Ripped Wings | Haikyuu!!

Ibato Chiaki never thought she'll end up hating volleyball.

But she had.

Not by choice. But whenever she thought about the sport, her heart felt like it was getting ripped to pieces. And she knew the bitterness inside of her was growing even darker as the realization of her never every being able to play the sport again sunk in.

It hurt. It hurt so bad.

So she was going to block it out of her life although she knew how impossible it was when her whole family had an occupation relating to the sport. But hell, she'll try. At least when she's at school.

Or that was what she thought.

She tries to turn away, but her friends fight to teach her that it may hurt more staying away from the sport she used to love so much. When she finally takes the hand outstretched to her, she will once again become the white dove. However, this time, she flies among the crows with obsidian wings and soars high into the sky.

"Senpai, you may not be able to stand on the court as a player anymore. But you'll always be part of our team. We'll take you to the nationals, just as you dreamed. So please stay with us!"
